Day Trek: Adult- $160.00 per head
Under 16yrs- $100.00 per head

Overnight Trek: Adult- $200 per head
Under 16yrs- $150.00 per head

Schedule

Day Trek: Duration approx. 9 hours. Consisting of a 4 hour trek to the camp, an hour for lunch and a swim in the river, and a 4 hour return trek.
Pick up is at the Whakatane Information Centre at 9.am, with an approx. return time of 7.pm.

Overnight Trek: Duration approx. 28 hours. Consisting of a 4 hour trek to the camp, the rest of the day to spend at your lesuire, and a 4 hour return trek the following morning.
Pick up is at the Whakatane Information Centre at 9.am, with an approx. return time of 1.pm the following day.

What to bring

Day Trek: Clients need to bring the following: own lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, long pants, light parka, solid footwear, and swimming togs/towel.
We provide light refreshments of tea/coffee and biscuits.

Overnight Trek: Clients need to bring the following: own lunch and dinner, water bottle, sunscreen, long pants, light parka or long sleeved garment, solid footwear, swimming togs/towel, warm clothing, torch and sleeping bag.
We provide breakfast, and light refreshments of tea/coffee and biscuits.
Sheets, pillows, and mattresses are supplied.

Safety

For the safety of clients, Ngahere Adventures supply riding helmets, well maintained equipment , and experienced guides.
We will endeavour to match the horse to the clients riding ability.

Other Points

Overnight accommodation is basic. There is gas- top cooking, all utensils are provided, washing facilities, and the toilets are longdrops.
Once settled at the camp, there is the opportunity to swim, fish, or simply relax and unwind. Own horses are welcome.
